Ewan Shanks, CPC, CHRP Candidate

Ewan Shanks brings in excess of 20 years of search experience to the company.  He began his career with a boutique contingency search firm and spent sixteen years with a pre-eminent retained search firm before moving over to the corporate side. 

Ewan is trained in structural behavioural interviewing and has a keen eye for identifying top talent in the marketplace.  He excels at managing client relationships and delivering results on time and under budget.  His motto is “under promise and over deliver”.

Ewan holds a Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) designation through ACSESS, along with CSC and IFIC certifications.  Ewan is also a CHRP candidate and member of the HRPA. 

Karen Tulk, BSc., CHRP Candidate

Karen Tulk brings ten years of human resources and recruitment experience to her role.  Previously, she worked for two large publicly-traded global search firms.  During that time, Karen devoted her energy to building strong relationships with both candidates and clients in the accounting and finance sectors.

Karen holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College.  She is also an active member and CHRP candidate of the Human Resources Professionals Association.

Leanna La, B.Envs, CHRP

Leanna La brings several years of professional and volunteer human resources experience to her role.  She is very active in the Human Resources Community including serving as on the THRPA Chapter Communication Committee.  She focuses on building strong long–term mutually beneficial relationships with all whom she meets.

Leanna holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree with a double major in Urban Studies from York University.  She obtained her Certificate of Human Resources Management from Seneca College.  Leanna has also achieved the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
